Runerize Privacy Policy

Runerize is developed and operated by Appozitive SpA ("Appozitive", "we", "us", or "our"). Runerize provides running and fitness tracking features on Android, Wear OS, and iOS ("Application"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the Application accesses, how data is used, when data may be shared, and how data is retained or deleted.

Scope

This policy applies to the Runerize mobile, Wear OS, and iOS applications distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store by Appozitive SpA.

Data We Access and Process

Data you provide in the app

The Application allows you to enter data such as:

• Profile metrics, for example height and weight
• Workout/session details, for example workout names, notes, goals, and training plans
• Optional content you add, for example photos attached to sessions

Height, weight, workout content, and similar user-entered records are stored locally on your device unless a feature explicitly sends data to a third-party provider described in this policy.

Data accessed automatically

Depending on permissions, platform, and enabled features, the Application may access:

• Location data, precise or approximate, during active workout tracking
• Health and fitness data, for example heart rate, cadence, and activity/workout metrics
• Physical activity data, where supported by the platform
• Device/app diagnostics and usage data, for example app interactions, crash logs, and performance diagnostics
• Identifiers, including advertising-related identifiers such as Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA, where applicable and permitted
• Connected device data, for example Wear OS watch status/battery or external heart-rate monitor identifiers needed for connection

How We Use Data

We use data to:

• Track workouts, including distance, pace/speed, route, time, calories, and heart-rate-related metrics
• Keep workout tracking running during an active session
• Sync data between phone and Wear OS companion features, where available
• Provide app features, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability/performance
• Support ads and ad measurement where ads are shown

Location and Sensitive Data

Runerize uses location and health/fitness data only for workout and related app features described in this policy. Runerize does not sell personal or sensitive user data.

Sharing and Third Parties

The Application uses third-party services for app operations, diagnostics, analytics, maps/platform functionality, and ads. Data may be processed by these providers according to their policies.

Third-party services used by the app may include, depending on platform and enabled features:

• Google Play Services
• Google Maps Platform / Google Maps SDK
• AdMob
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Apple platform services, where applicable

Data Retention

Locally stored workout history, profile values, and user-entered app content remain on your device until you delete them in-app, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

Crash/diagnostic, analytics, and advertising-related data processed by third-party providers is retained according to those providers' configured retention settings and policies.

We retain data only as needed for the purposes described in this policy and to meet applicable legal obligations.

Data Deletion

You can delete locally stored app data by:

• Deleting specific records, such as sessions, inside the app where available
• Clearing app data or uninstalling the app on your device

Children and Age

Runerize is intended for users age 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

International Processing

Depending on service providers used, data may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and provider commitments.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above.
